Great Bear Rainforest

I don't think I've shown you these illustrations, but i did them quite a few months ago for a project at college. I did them in responce to an amazing video I watched on the Great Bear Rainforest, on the western coast of Canada. The films explores two surfers journey as they discover the forest and the environmental problems facing it.... you HAVE to watch the film, it really is breathtaking, and so inspiring! I really want to go to the great bear rainforest!! So, watch the video, and then you'll be able to appreciate my illustrations!

My brother Harry, is also going to Vancouver in 2 weeks, to do a 6 week work experience with the company that produced the film, Sitka. I hope he has an amazing time, which I'm sure he will! Oh I'd love to go with him.... maybe soon :)

Hello August...

It's August! And I broke up from college a couple of weeks ago, so finally on my summer holiday! Although it hasn't been  much of a holiday as I'm working most days at Sandleigh tea room! I think I'll take some pictures and do a blog about it, its the most loveliest cafe! I've also just bought a new phone, and so I have instagram! Bicycle Cards

It has been over a month since my last post!!!! Oh my.... I have been very busy with college work, and I've also started a weekend job at the cutest little tea room....... so that should make up for my absence! A few weeks ago I did a bicycle project, and how one can just jump on a bicycle and cycle anywhere and feel complete freedom... I illustrated loads of different vintage looking bikes (mostly inspired by the beautiful Pashley Bicycles, have a look on their website... so pretty!) and then printed them onto cards! I'm really pleased with them, and the tea room that I work in bought some off me to sell! I think I might put them up on my Etsy shop... what do you think??

Diana F+ Trials... part 2

I just got some more film developed... what do you think? I like how in the photo above half the image is in a red filter, not to sure how that happened! But that's the beauty of the Diana cameras, you really have no idea what's going to come out... if you haven't seen my last posts on my Diana trials then look >here< and >here<
