New Website - Goldeneye Guides

For the last month I've been designing/building my Dad's website, for his Guide books and Map guides business, as his last website was out of date and didn't do all the things that he wanted. There's is still a few more images and text to be added, but after a month of me slaving away on the computer, it is finally up on the internet! This is the first website that I've built, and yes it was very tricky but we're all really proud of the end result, especially my Dad!

Please have a look, I'd appreciate your feedback...

Short break to Cornwall

Alice and I in the Café
Barefoot Shop
Home made cakes and scones...Yum!
Harry slaving away in the kitchen
Pretty flowers that Alice and I picked
My very yummy lunch - Vegetarian Mezze board - cooked by Harry
Herewith a few pictures of my weekend away in Cornwall with my family. We went to visit my Brother Harry's new café (soon to be restaurant)  that he's setting up with my Aunty and Uncle down on the Lizard Peninsula, Cornwall, called Barefoot Café. Next to the Café they have a little shop selling everything you need for a Cornish lifestyle, from blankets and throws, teapots, aprons, jewellery, and hot chocolate sticks. Harry made us a mezze board of lots of different delicious foods, which we enjoyed very much!

Did you have a good weekend?

A little reminder to say, I'm only one follower off 50, that only means one thing... give away time soon!!!

Friday's Fancies #15

DressShoes ~ ClutchEarrings
Another Friday and another Friday's Fancies, at Long Distance Loving blog! The blue clutch really sets of the dress and is very eye catching against clean white lace. I couldn't resist the owl earrings, so cute! I'm going down to Cornwall camping this weekend with my family to see my brother's new restaurant that he's just opened with Aunty and Uncle so that will be a very yummy trip! So I'll be back on Sunday night for Picture of the week.

Have a lovely weekend!

Vintage Lace

source

Antique cotton patch worked lace, with tiny mother of pearl buttons. Set onto a cotton lawn bodice, which is very delicate and typical of the Edwardian era. This is such a feminine look. I'd of love to be born in an era where such beautiful clothing was worn everyday, if only...

What era would you of liked to of lived in?

Short Shorts

1 ~ 2 ~ 3 ~ 4

Floral shorts are a must have this summer, even if its a little cold you can always wear tights underneath! I love all these vibrant patterns, so cute. My favourite pair is last one, the combination of pale blue, pink, green and purple is so lovely, do you know where I could get hold of these shorts?? Which shorts are your favourite?

Inspirational Interiors - London

My heart sank a little when I came across this Edwardian property. With original period features, and antique French furnishings this is definitely a house with true style! I do like the soft hues of blue, however I personally would like to see a bit more colour, maybe a few splashes of green and pink...?

A girl can dream...

You should all know that I'm a girl with BIG dreams! And when I mean big, I mean, "To marry Robert Pattinson" is on my "Things to do before I die" list! So, for today's post I'm going to share with you my biggest dreams :)

1. Travel...I've always dreamed of visiting Switzerland in the spring/summer when all the beautiful flowers are in full bloom and of course to visit Italy would be absolutely amazing too. Mmmm Italian food, yum!
source
2. To design my very own grand Design house and then build it! That is my ultimate dream, my house would be very light and colourful, with great views across mountains. Every room would be filled with my own paintings and I would have a massive art studio on the top floor, all for me :) And I will grow lots of vegetables in a Secret garden, like the one below.
source
3. To become an Interior Designer/Architect/Stylist! Where I'll wear beautiful clothes like below...
source
4. When I'm around 45, to open up a Cupcake shop!
5. To meet Robert Pattinson, fall in love and then get married! That would be Brilliant!!!

What are your biggest dreams???

Funny Cupcakes...

Owl Cupcakes
Cookie Monster Cupcakes
More Owl Cupcakes
Yesterday Georgia and I got a bit artistic in the kitchen, making Cookie monster cupcakes and Owl cupcakes! The cookie monster's are made my cutting out a mouth and spreading blue icing all over and then simply placing a cookie in his mouth, then adding white chocolate buttons and chocolate chips for eyes. For the owl cupcakes, we spread chocolate icing and cut Oreo biscuits in half adding chocolate chips for eyes. And for the noes we used orange jelly beans! We made a lot of mess, but they were soooooo yummy!!!

Do you like to make cupcakes?

Blue & Yellow Kitchens

I love kitchens, especially ones filled with colour and home-made food. I think the blue and yellow add to make a really happy atmosphere. Kitchens are always my favourite rooms in a home, what's yours?

Prom 2011

I understand that most of my readers haven't seen what I look like before, so this is probably a little strange seeing me for the first time! But what a great day I had yesterday.

The 4th July commenced with a chilled out morning and at 2:30 my sister's lovely friend Kylie, who's a make-up artist came and did mine and my friends Emily's make-up and nails! It was a real transformation for me and looking back at the pictures I don't quite recognise myself, especially as I wear glasses and have only just started wearing contacts lenses! At 6:00 all my friends met up at Georgia's house for photos and pimm's! And at 6:45 the cars arrived to take us to our destination at Woolacombe Bay Hotel for our prom! Georgia and I went in a Cream Voltswagon Karmann Ghia, which we have completely fallen in love with, it was so much fun, but we had to put the roof on half way there as my false eyelash was flapping in the wind!! By 7:45 we arrived, with loads of people taking pictures. I felt a bit like a film star, if only Robert Pattinson was there (sigh). The rest of the evening was filled with lots of laughter, dancing and a lot of pain in my feet!

But, it was definitely worth it and everyone looked Beautiful!!!

Picture of the week: Chilling in a Hammock

I have to admit, I'm feeling a tiny bit nervous for my prom tomorrow. So, for this weeks Picture of the week I've chosen an extra calming image. I would love a hammock in my garden, but I would be afraid of not ever being able to come out out of it again! What are your thoughts to this picture?

I ♥ Elie Saab

I can't believe it, but on Monday its my prom! The time has seemed to of flown by!! I'm keeping my dress very secret, so to my friends reading this, NO, I'm not going to reveal my dress, Hahaha {evil laugh}! However, today's post is all about my second favourite designer {first being my mum, Caroline Fricker} Elie Saab. I'm completely in love with his spring summer 2011 collection, I can't seem to get enough of it. If I were a celebrity then I would defiantly wear an Elie Saab dress. All his gowns are so feminine and whimsical, here are a few of my favourites.

If you were a red carpet star, what designer would you wear?

Friday's Fancies #12

With such a big statement ring, its nice to keep things simple. Pairing this beautiful green Rebecca Taylor dress with some delicate leaf leather flipflops. I love the combination of green and gold in an outfit, it conveys a great sense of sophistication and elegance. I can't quite believe that this is my 12th link up to Friday's fancies at Long Distance Loving, and if you like my outfit don't forget to "Like" it here!

Sandals: Monsoon

Would you wear this outfit?
