This haunting mysterious photo is rather appropriate as Halloween is tomorrow! The swirly ironwork looks a bit like a spiders web, yet very beautiful at the same time.
When I was in London, we had a little trip to Notting hill where we stopped off at The Hummingbird Bakery for a delicious cupcake! I had the popcorn cupcake, and it was incredible!!
Yesterday I got back from a lovely 3 days spent at my
godmothers Louise’s house in Newbury, Berkshire, just 1 hour from London. We
went to an amazing market called Kempton, which was filled with vintage things,
such as trunks, bottles, clothes, telephones, dolls and mirrors. The most popular item there was the trunks,
all ranging in size and colour. They hold so must history and secrets too,
where had they travelled too? And whom did they belong too? I’m definitely
going to have to invest in one someday! The market stretched on for miles, and
if you’re ever in the area you must must go!
This weeks Friday's Fancies theme is in honour of Breast Cancer awareness month and also this is my 28th link up long distance loving! I don't have any pink in my wardrobe, and found it quite hard to put this ensemble together. But I do love how feminine it looks, and although its not pink I really do love the teal mulberry bag!
Do you have tumblr? I do, so why not follow me? You might be lucky and get a follow back ;) Here are a few of my favourite pictures that I've reblogged...
How cute is this little cottage? I can imagine snuggling up on the sofa with a big cup of tea in front of the fire! I love the old apple crate as the swing and how shabby yet how warm and cosy it looks, I'd be happy to move in!
Last night I went to Cardiff to see
City and Colour. It was incredible and the best thing I've
ever experienced in my life, so far! Dallas's voice was perfect and
his set was amazing, mixing his old and new stuff. The gig was in a
big concert hall, so the sound was extraordinary.
And I have to say although I didn't think it possible,
he's much better live. If you ever get the chance, go and see him! The opening
song was "We found each other in the dark" which was perfect, as the
lights sparked on and there he was... and then I began to cry. I HAVE to see
him again, and meet him too! The following video wasn't taken by me, but someone who was sitting around where I was, so enjoy... ♥
Every spare second I've had over the last few weeks, I've spent redesigning and building my mums website. My mum, Caroline, is an amazing wedding dress designer and she wanted a fresh clean website where she could present her dresses. I hope you like the site, and if you notice any mistakes please don't be afraid to say!
So, without further ado... the new and improved website of
I'm so excited as I'm off to Cardiff next Thursday to see City and Colour! I literally can't wait, Dallas Green has THE most beautiful voice ever. If you haven't heard of him, then please take a listen to these...
Do you like City and Colour? And have you seen them live?
I just wanted to dedicate today's post to glitter. I ♥ it, probably a little bit too much, but I do. All you have to do is add a little sprinkle of glitter onto a picture and wow, its transformed into something so magical!
Today I made a sewing machine, not an actuall working machine but a cardboard one. Although, you can thread it up. I'm pretty pleased with it. I started by cutting the basic shape and then stcking it together with masking tape. Then I covered it in newspaper and PVA glue. After taking all afternoon to dry I stuck on buttons and and used paper clips as the hooks. Its part of my artist response for college, I hope they like it!
